The number of discounts available to each authorized agency
will be awarded based upon the net rail sales produced by the travel agency
in the prior fiscal year, as shown in the table below.

Who is Eligible to Book AD75 Travel?
Travel agents who are full time employees of an accredited tour operator
or travel agency and have been employed at least three (3) consecutive
months can qualify for reduced travel. Employees of approved tour operators
and travel agencies with a valid IATA/IATAN card may experience train travel
at 75% off the full one-way fare.
Additional Rules and Regulations

Reservations cannot be made more than twenty days prior to travel.

Trip can be one way or round-trip.

Multiple trips on one reservation are prohibited.

Travel on the Acela Express (both Business Class and First
Class), Auto Train, Business Class on Regional service
and in sleeping accommodations is limited to one (1) trip per year.

Can Tour Operators and Travel Agencies Earn
Additional Discounts?
Agencies that have used their allotment may earn additional AD75s by
submitting a written marketing plan from the owner/manager on how they will
promote Amtrak in their marketing activities. The marketing plan must be
reviewed by the Travel Agency Sales Center before additional AD75s will be
awarded.
